The Soleman was founded by Marco de Rooij, podiatrist and entrepreneur. He has been active in orthopedic shoe technology since 1995 as an outsole craftsman, and started his own practice in 1999. His experience in both production and clinical practice gives him a unique understanding of what a practitioner needs and expects from a product.
